Wheeler Yuta will battle some old friends on the July 20 episode of AEW Dynamite.
On the “Fyter Fest Week 2” edition of the show, Yuta, the ROH Pure Champion, will team up with Interim AEW World Champion Jon Moxley to face the Best Friends (Trent Beretta and Chuck Taylor.). Before he joined the Blackpool Combat Club, Yuta was a member of the Best Friends alongside Taylor, Beretta, Orange Cassidy and Kris Statlander. In April, he left the group to join Moxley, Bryan Danielson, and William Regal in the BCC.
Moxley is coming off a win over Konosuke Takeshita on the July 13 episode of the show. Meanwhile, Yuta will hope to gain momentum ahead of his title match against Wheeler Yuta at ROH Death Before Dishonor.

The updated card for the July 20 episode of AEW Dynamite is as follows:
- Barbwire Everywhere Match (with the Jericho Appreciation Society suspended in a shark cage): Chris Jericho vs. Eddie Kingston
- Jon Moxley and Wheeler Yuta vs. Best Friends (Chuck Taylor and Trent Beretta)
- Christian Cage & Luchasaurus vs. Varsity Blonds
- Darby Allin vs. Brody King
