It’s a new raid, yes it is.
On the July 15 episode of WWE SmackDown, The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) escalated their rivalry with the Viking Raiders. The duo came to the ring to their rivals’ theme song, and they were dressed up as Vikings. They proceeded to make fun of Erik and Ivar, and their Viking lifestyle. They also stated they have seen all of the Thor movies, even the new one, so they’re quite familiar with the culture.
The Viking Raiders responded by coming to the stage and saying they’re more brutal now, and they were ready to prove it. They walked to the ring, prepared to beat up the fan-favorites, before Shanky and Jinder Mahal attacked them as part of an apparent plan hatched by the New Day. Mahal then danced with Woods and Kingston as Mahal looked on, but rather than getting mad, the former WWE Champion looked on with relative neutrality.
