Eddie Kingston and Chris Jericho will go to war again on the July 20 episode of AEW Dynamite.
In a promo on the July 8 episode of AEW Rampage, Kingston stated that he didn’t get to taste Jericho’s blood during their previous encounter in the Blood & Guts match, and he refused to let the former champion make a liar out of him. He stated that he wants to face Jericho in a match where they’d be surrounded with barbed wire in order to make his nemesis bleed. The fan-favorite was fired up because Tay Conti of the Jericho Appreciation Society attacked Kingston’s friend, Ruby Soho, and slammed her hand in a car door on the July 6 episode of AEW Dynamite.
The broadcast team later announced that “The Mad King” will battle “The Wizard” in a Barbed Wire Death Match on the second night of the “Fyter Fest” special. To level the playing field, the Jericho Appreciation Society will be suspended in a shark cage to prevent them from interfering.
This clash will be the latest bout between the two; they also met at AEW Revolution, where Kingston scored the win, and in the Anarchy in the Arena Match at AEW Double or Nothing, where the JAS emerged victorious.

As of this writing, this match is the only segment that has been announced for the July 20 episode of AEW Dynamite.
