Big E is doing much better since his injury back in March and has delivered some great news to the WWE Universe on Independence Day.
This afternoon on social media, former WWE Champion Big E took to social media to provide fans with an update on his neck. While he started by saying that his C1 isn’t forming bone yet, the plan is to get more scans at the “one-year mark” to see how it’s progressing. The best news is that he’s feeling great, and the possibility of surgery is off the table. Tweeting out:
“Update! My C1 isn’t ossifying (forming bone) quite yet. The current plan is to get more scans at the one-year mark & see how it’s progressing. The great news is I feel tremendous & surgery is off the table,” Big E said in a tweet.
If the plans are for Big E to get more scans on his neck at the one-year mark, that will place it in March of 2023. So for those hoping that we would see him return to the ring soon, that doesn’t appear to be in the cards.
The most important thing in all of this is that Big E is feeling healthy, and he doesn’t have to have neck fusion surgery which would have effectively ended his WWE career.
On behalf of everyone here at WrestleZone, we continue to wish Big E the best and hope for a full recovery.
