Lio Rush Announces ‘Man Of The Hour’ NFT Collection

Lio Rush is getting into the NFT game.

Lio Rush has teamed up with JetSet to create a new “Man Of The Hour” NFT Collection. Rush made the announcement on Friday, posting the following:

“Lio Rush “ Man Of The Hour “ NFT Collection coming soon! [hourglass emoji]. I’m excited to announce my collab with @JetSetToken for my first NFT collection! Text “Jetset” to 26786 for updates!”

Rush has been recovering from a shoulder injury sustained in January, but he’s stayed busy in the interim. Rush appeared at New Japan Capital Collision in May in a non-wrestling capacity, and he also released a new album on June 24.

Rush’s doctor originally gave him a return timetable of 6-9 months, so he’s still a few months away from a return.

“As far as a return, the doctor, the surgeon did say that I am expecting a six-to-nine month recovery period, which was very hard to hear,” said Rush. “And I got hurt back in January. I just had my surgery not too long ago, so I have some time, but I will say I’m healing a lot quicker than I thought I would. My personal trainer, my surgeon, they’re saying that I’m healing a lot quicker, probably from muscle memory, being an athlete my entire life. So I’m definitely healing pretty quickly. But like I said, I’m in no rush to come back. Although I miss it a lot, I do want to take my time because I wanna be healthy, I wanna be ready, mentally. I want to be in the best shape that I’ve ever been in, and I plan on doing that. So hopefully sooner rather than later.”

Rush also said that he’s open to returning to AEW despite leaving in February; read more about why he feels like the door is not closed at this link.
