Jordynne Grace will continue to remain with IMPACT Wrestling regardless of who’s producing her entrance music.
Rumors started circulating that Jordynne Grace could be headed to All Elite Wrestling due to the fact that Mikey Rukus had recently composed a theme song for her. Rukus recently shared a video giving fans a backstage look at how he created The Butcher & The Blade’s entrance theme, but some viewers noticed that Grace’s name was on a list of tracks seen in the video.
Rukus himself dismissed a report that materialized and said Grace’s track actually had nothing to do with AEW, and now Jordynne has also added more context and squashed the rumor. Grace told Fightul’s Sean Ross Sapp (via Fightful Select) that Mikey Rukus has actually been creating entrance themes for her for a number of years now, well before All Elite Wrestling even existed.
Furthermore, Jordynne Grace signed a multi-year extension with IMPACT Wrestling back in May of 2021, which means she won’t be leaving the company anytime soon.
Grace recently sat down with WrestleZone’s own Bill Pritchard to discuss a wide variety of subjects, including her Knockouts Championship win at Slammiversary and new goals in the company.
“I would love to break Taya’s streak as the longest-reigning Knockouts champion. So that’s the goal I have, but obviously, that’s not entirely up to me. Another goal I have is just to bring more eyes to the Knockouts division in general. I really want to be the best champion I can for this company,” she said. “I feel like they’ve put a lot of responsibility on me and I feel like I’m really ready to be the face of the Knockouts division.”
