Riddle has officially qualified for the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match, as he won a Last Chance Battle Royal on the June 27 episode of WWE RAW to lock up one of the final two spots in the highly anticipated match.
In a battle royal that included the likes of Akira Tozawa, Shelton Benjamin, Veer, R-Truth, Shanky, Jinder Mahal, Reggie, Mustafa, Tommaso Ciampa, Dominik Mysterio, Rey Mysterio, T-Bar, Dolph Ziggler, Shinsuke Nakamura, Ricochet, AJ Styles, and The Miz, “The Original Bro” persevered and won the contest.
Toward the end of the match, it came down Styles, Riddle, and The Miz, who had rolled out of the ring after apparently suffering an injury to his leg. However, “The A-Lister” shocked the crowd and Styles by quickly grabbing him and yanking him off the ropes while he was on the apron to eliminate the former world champion.
With the action down to The Miz and Riddle, the two brawled for a bit before both ended up on the apron. The Miz then attempted to charge at Riddle, but he countered it and landed an RKO on the apron to eliminate Miz and win the match. As a result, Riddle joins Seth “Freakin” Rollins, Sami Zayn, Drew McIntyre, Sheamus, Omos, and one participant to be named later in the ladder match.
