The NXT UK Tag Team Championship has changed hands. Keep reading if you wish to be spoiled.
On June 22, WWE NXT UK held TV tapings at BT Sports Studios. In one noteworthy development, the reigning NXT UK Tag Team Champions, Oliver Carter and Ashton Smith, were forced to vacate the gold because Smith is injured. In the main event of the tapings, four teams competed for the vacated titles.
Prior to the announcement, NXT 2.0‘s Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen were set to challenge for the gold, and they went on to win the titles due to their victory in the four-way bout. They defeated Die Familie, Mark Andrews & Wild Boar, and Dave Mastiff & Jack Starz.
NXT 2.0 stars continue to appear on the overseas brand, and vice versa. Von Wagner, Ivy Nile, and Roderick Strong, among others, have traveled overseas to compete on NXT UK at recent tapings.
