Jordan Devlin is coming back to WWE NXT under a new name.
On the June 21 episode of WWE NXT 2.0, a vignette showed a man driving while he was talking about the winds of change. He noted that it would take a lot for him to leave his home of Dublin. The mystery man then showed his face and said soon enough, he’ll show everyone why you never bet against an ace. The on-screen graphic showed that his name was JD McDonagh, but he was clearly the former Jordan Devlin.

Devlin lost a Loser Leaves NXT UK match to NXT UK Champion Ilja Dragunov on the May 12 episode of the show. He last appeared on NXT Prime at NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver in April 2021; there, he lost a Cruiserweight Championship Unification Ladder Match to Santos Escobar.
