Bianca Belair vs. Rhea Ripley won’t take place just yet, but the -EST already knows who she will be facing at Money In The Bank.
Rhea Ripley is medically unable to cleared at WWE Money In The Bank, and she was pulled from the RAW Women’s Championship match scheduled for the event. Fightful first reported the news (via the Fightful Select platform), and Bianca Belair confirmed the change as RAW went on the air.
It’s unclear what’s keeping Ripley out of the ring, but it’s worth noting that she recently confirmed she had a dental injury repaired after taking a knee to the mouth. Ripley last competed on the June 6 episode of RAW, a fatal 4-way win over Alexa Bliss, Doudrop and Liv Morgan that earned her the title shot against Belair in the first place.
RAW hosted a fatal 5-way match to determine a new number one contender, featuring Liv Morgan, Becky Lynch, Carmella, Asuka and Alexa Bliss competing for the title shot. Carmella ended up walking away with the win, scoring the pin on Morgan after surprising her with a superkick.
