Jon Moxley and Hiroshi Tanahashi will team up on the June 22 episode of AEW Dynamite.
Just a few days before they clash in a match for the Interim AEW World Championship at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, the two stars will join forces to face Chris Jericho and Lance Archer on Wednesday night. This bout will mark Tanahashi’s AEW in-ring debut.
Jericho interrupted the face-to-face confrontation between Moxley and Tanahashi on the June 15 episode, and his arrival was followed by a sneak attack by Archer, Desperado, and the Jericho Appreciation Society.
Like Moxley and Tanahashi, Jericho will have a match at Forbidden Door; he’ll team up with Minoru Suzuki to face Eddie Kingston, Wheeler Yuta and Shota Umino.

The updated card for the June 22 episode of AEW Dynamite is as follows:
- All-Atlantic Championship Qualifying Match: Malakai Black vs. Penta Oscuro
- Orange Cassidy and Roppongi Vice (Trent Beretta & Rocky Romero) vs. The United Empire (Will Ospreay, Kyle Fletcher, and Mark Davis)
- Jon Moxley and Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Chris Jericho and Lance Archer
