Brian Hebner is calling it a career.
Renowned referee Brian Hebner has been in the business for almost 23 years, but he’s retiring from his career as a full-time official. Hebner announced the news on the latest episode of his Refin It Up with Brian Hebner podcast; he stated that he’ll finish out his time with IMPACT Wrestling during Slammiversary weekend.
The IMPACT legend also commented on the news in a tweet. He stated that retiring wasn’t an easy decision, but it felt like the right time.
Hebner, the son of former longtime WWE referee Earl Hebner, has worked for WWE, TNA/IMPACT, AEW, Ring of Honor, and NWA, among other promotions.
