WWE has revealed the amount of time that Cody Rhodes is expected to miss.
“The American Nightmare” suffered a torn pectoral tendon ahead of WWE Hell in a Cell, but he still competed in his advertised match against Seth Rollins. The next night on WWE RAW, Rhodes discussed his injury before Rollins brutally attacked him.
On June 9, Brandi Rhodes announced that Rhodes had successful surgery. The next day, the SmackDown broadcast team offered an update when Michael Cole announced that Cody will be out for nine months. WWE then confirmed the news in a tweet.
