Report: Adam Cole Dealing With A Labrum Injury

Adam Cole hasn’t wrestled for All Elite Wrestling since his match against Samoa Joe at Double or Nothing.

While it was initially reported that he was dealing with multiple small injuries and wouldn’t be back in the ring for All Elite Wrestling until Forbidden Door on June 26, we now have more information regarding the specifics of Cole’s injury.

According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, Adam Cole has been working through a labrum injury as far back as his AEW World title feud with Hangman Page, although it isn’t specified if this was for his first or second shot against Page. While some people have told Sapp that the labrum is torn, that isn’t something he’s been able to confirm with either All Elite Wrestling or Cole himself.

The first Men’s Owen Hart Foundation Cup winner has appeared on AEW Dynamite since Double or Nothing by doing commentary and hasn’t done anything physical.

A torn labrum can be healed without surgery but would take four to six weeks to reattach and another four weeks to strengthen and return to normal.

If Cole is lucky, his labrum isn’t torn, but the status of how serious the labrum injury is hasn’t been confirmed.
