WWE Says Edge Suffered A Non-Displaced Orbital Floor Fracture On 6/6 RAW

It doesn’t sound like we’ll be seeing WWE Hall of Famer Edge on Monday Night RAW anytime soon.

On today’s episode of WWE’s The Bump, Kayla Braxton broke the news on Edge’s injury status following a vicious attack at the hands of The Judgment Day on Monday Night RAW.

“We have some breaking news right here on WWE’s The Bump,” Kayla Braxton said. “Following the attack that we just discussed at the hands of Finn Balor, Rhea Ripley, and Damian Priest. Edge suffered a non-displaced orbital floor fracture. This was confirmed by an orbital CT scan performed Tuesday at a medical facility. Just be sure you guys stay tuned for any more updates and details of Edge’s status on all of our social and digital platforms throughout the week. So again, speedy recovery to Edge.”

Of course, this is a storyline, and Edge isn’t actually hurt, but he will be taking some time off WWE programming for the time being.

While many speculated this was a last-minute decision due to the injury of Cody Rhodes, other reports are suggesting that WWE creative wanted to take The Judgment Day in a supernatural direction. This is something that Edge was against, and that might have led to him being removed from the group in favor of Finn Balor.

Stay tuned as more information will likely come out regarding this situation in the days ahead.
