DEFY Wrestling‘s “Young Destroyers” show on June 25 will feature several names from AEW.
Most notably, Christopher Daniels will defend the DEFY Interim Championship against Lee Moriarty. “The Apex of Combat” competes somewhat regularly on AEW programming, while Daniels’ most recent bout was on the March 2 episode of AEW Dynamite. Before that, he last wrestled for the promotion on the May 12, 2021, episode of the show, though he has been active on the independent scene in recent months.
Daniels won the DEFY Interim Championship at the “Dark Horse” event on December 18. He has defended it against Wheeler Yuta, Titus Alexander, Clark Connors, and Nick Wayne.
