Bully Ray Will Be A Special Guest Commentator At NWA Alwayz Ready

Bully Ray has a new item to check off of his bucket list.

WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray announced that he will be at the commentary desk for NWA Alwayz Ready on June 11. Bully broke the news on Wednesday’s episode of Busted Open Radio and shared that he be on hand for the NWA World Women’s Championship match between Kamille and KiLynn King.

“Mickie, I’m not sure if you can appreciate this [since she lived in Virginia], I’m not sure if you did this as a wrestling fan, but growing up in New York like me, Dave and Tommy, we were force-fed the WWE. All we got was the WWE, WWF, back in the day. But I remember that day I got the cable box for the first time and I found this thing called Georgia Championship Wrestling and the NWA,” Bully explained. “I was so excited for this because I feel like I was getting real men fighting about real issues over real championships that seemed to mean so much more, as opposed to the larger-than-life comic book characters that the WWF was giving fans back in the day.

“I’ve always loved and appreciated the NWA and have been a fan of it my entire life. Obviously, Billy Corgan bought the NWA, the NWA is doing really well now, they have a great locker room, they have a great cast of stars over there. Mickie, I’m sure you’re familiar with one of their biggest stars there in the NWA. [laughs] I’m very happy to announce that on June 11th at the NWA Alwayz Ready pay-per-view, I will be a special guest commentator for the Kamille versus Kilynn King NWA Women’s World Heavyweight Championship match,” Bully said.

Bully went on to explain how it was a special moment for him because he was one of Kamille’s trainers, and he also trained KiLynn too.

“I have a vested interest in both women. I’m extremely proud of their accomplishments and the way they have grown in the wrestling business and the levels of success that they have achieved.”

Bully noted that he’d been talking to Corgan about taking some kind of role with the NWA, and this was a good opportunity to talk about both women and show how their respective careers have flourished. NWA’s Joe Galli also confirmed that Bully will be would be on hand as Master Of Ceremonies for the NWA Powerrr taping the following day.
