AEW president Tony Khan has taken a shot at WWE in a post on Twitter.
On May 27, Khan tweeted that he had an eventful day on Thursday; he visited with fans and media, and he went to Los Angeles to have “the most fulfilling meeting of [his] life” with Warner Brothers Discovery leadership. Finally, he had dinner with his dad, Shad Khan, and Dana White, where he broke the news of WWE Money in the Bank moving to MGM Grand Garden Arena to the UFC President.
In a comment to his tweet, Khan called it a “genius move” for WWE to try and take on the UFC in Vegas during International Fight Week.

WWE Money in the Bank and UFC 276 will go head-to-head in Las Vegas; WWE had been scheduled to run its show at Allegiant Stadium, and UFC will hold its show at T-Mobile Arena. On Thursday, WWE moved Money in the Bank to the smaller MGM Grand Garden Arena, reportedly due to poor ticket sales.
Khan recently revealed that Warner Brothers Discovery executives will be in attendance at the June 1 episode of AEW Dynamite.
