“Legit” Leyla Hirsch is planning on coming back better than ever.
Leyla Hirsch was injured in April during a taping of AEW Dark: Elevation. She suffered a torn ACL. Hirsch was in a match against Christine Marie where she landed awkwardly after a moonsault attempt. The match was immediately stopped, and Hirsch was helped to the back by the medical staff on hand, according to those in attendance.
Now, nearly two months later, she has taken to Twitter to reveal that she underwent successful surgery and is planning on coming back better than ever.
On April 5th, during AEW Dark Elevation, I suffered an injury. After landing on my feet from a moonsault, I tore my ACL. Today I was finally able to get my surgery.
Thank you to everyone for the support . I promise to come back an improved, leaner, meaner more Legit Athlete.
