Michelle McCool Was Questioned By Police For Killing The Undertaker With A Sledgehammer Due To A 911 Prank

The Undertaker and Michelle McCool were the victims of a disgusting 911 prank phone call.

Michelle McCool was a recent guest on The Wives of Wrestling podcast to talk about a wide variety of subjects, including the intracies of being married to a public figure like The Undertaker. When asked about her and The Undertaker’s kids being featured on social media more since he retired from WWE, McCool said that wasn’t intentional and still goes to great lengths to protect them as much as possible.

“Well, that wasn’t intentional with the documentary. We had filmed it for so many years that by the time it came out, Kaia was three, four years older, so I didn’t mind that the younger Kaia being on the documentary so much,” Michelle McCool said. “And then, as far as Colt, we didn’t post that picture. Somebody else posted a Hall of Fame picture with him on there. So we still try to protect them as much as possible. I’ll send stuff to close friends of Kaia, but people are crazy, man. People are legitimately crazy. I’m sure Giovanna and Kim, you have both dealt with some crazy showing up at your doorsteps, and people have no boundaries, and I will lose my mind real fast on somebody messing with either one of the kiddos. So I just want to keep it protected.”

McCool then went on to tell a shocking story of a prank 911 call that was made where someone told the cops that she had murdered The Undertaker with a sledgehammer.

“I had three cops follow me in the neighborhood one time because a 911 call said I’d killed my husband with a sledgehammer,” Michelle McCool revealed. “Ironically enough, the WrestleMania after he wrestled Triple H. Yeah, so I’m like one of those people if I’m telling the truth, I feel guilty. Like I feel like I’m lying If I’m in a pressure situation. I’m coming through the neighborhood guarded gates, and I’m talking to a girlfriend, and like, dang, there’s a cop behind me, but like I wasn’t speeding.

“So I pull into the house, and I’m like, crap, there’s three cops. I’m like, ‘What is going on?’ They’re like, ‘ma’am, is your husband home?’ And I’m like, ‘Yeah, can you tell me what’s going on?’ They’re like, ‘No, we just need to make sure your husband’s home,’ like what is going on? As we’re walking into the garage, my heart is pounding. I’m thinking the worst. So I go in the garage, and I kid you not. He’s coming out of the shower in the furthest place in the house, and I’m just yelling like, ‘babe, babe, babe!’ We finally get to the back of the house. He walks out in his towel. There’s three cops behind me. He’s like, ‘what’s going on?’ And they finally told me — they frickin told me somebody called 911 said I’d killed him with a sledgehammer. They let us listen to the call.”

At the end of the segment, McCool said she quipped ‘Yes, he’s died several times’, alluding to The Undertaker’s famed Deadman persona, so it’s good to see she has a sense of humor about the ordeal now.

McCool previously spoke about not wanting her husband’s WrestleMania streak to end; read more about what his WrestleMania 33 match meant to The Undertaker in her own words at this link.
