Kyle O’Reilly Reveals The Length Of His AEW Contract

Kyle O’Reilly is set to say “All Elite” for the foreseeable future.

The former WWE NXT star arrived in All Elite Wrestling in December 2021; he debuted on the “Holiday Bash” special episode of AEW Dynamite, where he reunited with his Undisputed Era stablemates Bobby Fish and Adam Cole. O’Reilly has been on a hot streak lately, as he defeated Rey Fenix to advance to the semifinals of the Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament. His time in AEW has just begun, and it’s far from over.

Speaking on the TODDCast Podcast, O’Reilly stated that he signed a five-year deal with the company. He made it clear that he hopes to win titles, have great matches, and enjoy himself throughout this period.

“For me in five years, I will still be with AEW,” said O’Reilly. “I signed a five-year deal with them, so hopefully by then, a champion of the company, or several-time tag team champion and just having fun and never losing that love that I have for the business. It’s so easy to get kind of jaded and bitter and beat up in this line of work because sometimes it’s such a grind. You’re traveling all the time, you’re beat up, you’re sore, you’re not always getting used.

“And I want to just be happy with what I’ve accomplished and satisfied and hopefully just having kickass matches because that’s really what it’s about for me. It’s just about getting in the ring, and I think that’s where Kyle O’Reilly is best suited, between those ropes and trying to have a good match with guys.”

O’Reilly will face Samoa Joe in the semifinals of the tournament on the May 25 episode of AEW Dynamite.
