Scott D’Amore has invited Hiromu Takahashi to step through the Forbidden Door and come to IMPACT Wrestling.
IMPACT X-Division Champion Ace Austin is currently competing in New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s Best of the Super Juniors tournament. On the fifth night of the competition, Takahashi defeated Austin in A Block action. After the match, Austin tweeted that he’d see Takahashi again at some point.

Takahashi responded by saying that he wants Austin’s title. D’Amore, the Executive Vice President of IMPACT Wrestling, chimed in by telling the NJPW star that there’s an “open door” he’s welcome to step through. D’Amore told Takahashi that his title shot is waiting for him.

Takahashi is a four-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion, and he has won the Best of the Super Juniors tournament four times; he is the defending champion, as he emerged victorious last year and in 2020.
