Former WWE star John Morrison has been announced for The Wrestling Showcase.
On May 18, The Wrestling Showcase announced the news moments after Morrison made his AEW debut under the name Johnny Elite and faced Samoa Joe in an Owen Hart Foundation Tournament quarterfinal.

Several other stars, such as Matt Cardona, Killer Kross, Taya Valkyrie, Jacob Fatu, and Tony Nese, have also been announced.
