Miro has been cleared to compete for a while now but hasn’t been seen on AEW Dynamite. That’s because he’s been busy filming a new television show.
It was reported last month that Miro was in New York filming a pilot for CBS. We now know that it was for a new cop drama show titled East New York.
The former All Elite Wrestling TNT Champion is featured in the trailer. Miro’s wife, CJ Perry, took to social media to trumpet the trailer reveal and put over her husband in the process. Tweeting out:
“So proud of @ToBeMiro doing his first pilot and for @CBS!!!!!! Miro plays the greatest villain no matter what genre of storytelling he is in! Catch him on #EastNewYork!” CJ Perry tweeted.
East New York stars Ben Michael Brown, Richard Kind, Jimmy Smits, Elizabeth Rodriguez, and more. It will premiere on CBS later this year.
