Cody Rhodes vs. Seth Rollins Set For WWE Hell In A Cell

Following their feud kickstarting at WrestleMania 38, Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins will now step into a Hell in a Cell match at the upcoming WWE Premium Live Event that’s named after the structure.

Rhodes made his entrance during the May 16 episode of WWE RAW and quickly got to work calling out Rollins. Rhodes noted that he was told Seth Rollins isn’t here and stated he tried to move forward last week, but Rollins couldn’t let it go so he attacked him last week.

After he stomped Rhodes, he said he won’t let Rhodes take anything else from him. Rhodes told the story of watching Rollins debut and eventually win his way to the top. “The American Nightmare” described how he, on the other hand, lost a lot. He painted his face and smile and ended up looking up at the lights most nights.

Rhodes eventually ended the segment by saying that if Rollins wants to actually stop him, he’ll have to kill him. He then said that he wanted a Hell in a Cell match, which caused Rollins to finally appear on the video screen. After he initially laughed at his rival, Rollins complained for a bit before finally accepting, telling Rhodes that anyone who has ever stepped into the cell with Rollins has been changed forever. He also vowed to expose Rhodes once and for all before “The American Nightmare” told Rollins he’d see him in hell.

Rhodes returned to WWE at WrestleMania 38 and defeated Rollins. The two men continued to feud, and they faced off again at WrestleMania Backlash, where Rhodes again emerged victorious. He’ll aim to beat Rollins again in their third clash at WWE Hell in a Cell.
