Tony Nese has joined The Wrestling Showcase.
WrestleZone can confirm that Tony Nese is the latest competitor set for The Wrestling Showcase in September. The Wrestling Showcase is a new event featuring a one-night, eight-man tournament set to take place on All Out weekend in Schaumburg, Illinois.
Nese, a former WWE Cruiserweight Champion, is the fifth participant confirmed for the tournament. Joining him at the tournament will be “Smart” Mark Sterling, who recently aligned with Nese on AEW TV as his manager. The other competitors confirmed for the tournament so far are Matt Cardona, Steve Maclin, Killer Kross and Jacob Fatu. Deonna Purrazzo and Taya Valkyrie will also be in action at the event in non-tournament matches.
