Even at this stage of his career, Adam Cole is still learning from the veteran agents and producers backstage at All Elite Wrestling.
Undisputed Elite member Adam Cole was a guest on Busted Open Radio this morning with Dave LeGreca and Bully Ray to discuss a variety of subjects. When asked who has been a help to him backstage at All Elite Wrestling, Cole put over both Jerry Lynn, Dustin Rhodes, and Dean Malenko.
“Jerry Lynn has been a massive help to me,” Adam Cole said. “I remember I went to a Jerry Lynn seminar like a year-and-a-half when I was into wrestling, and in that three-hour seminar, I learned so much. Up to that point, where I couldn’t even process it all because it was so much information at one time, and he gave me the classic, ‘You’ll understand this later,’ and I totally know what he means [now]. But Jerry has such a great understanding of maybe this ‘new-school’ mentality on certain things, where that old-school mentality would make stuff really, really well. So yeah, Jerry has been one who’s been incredibly helpful.
Dustin Rhodes has been another one who’s been super, super helpful. Like you said, there’s a list of tons of guys [here in AEW]. Dean Malenko has been very helpful. I could go on and on; we have a really good crew of agents and producers there.”
