All Elite Wrestling is getting an early start to the weekend on May 6.
AEW Rampage normally airs at 10 pm EST on TNT, but the Friday, May 6 episode of Rampage will have a special start time of 5:30 pm EST. In addition to confirming the early start time, AEW confirmed HOOK will compete on this week’s show.
AEW Rampage is being pre-empted due to NHL Playoff coverage; “NHL On TNT 21-22” is currently listed on the TNT schedule. Two playoff games will also air on sister network TBS, as the Toronto Maple Leafs face the Tampa Bay Lightning at 7:30 pm EST, while the Edmonton Oilers will play the Los Angeles Kings at 10 pm EST.
While AEW did not confirm plans for May 13, the TNT network schedule also lists Rampage as starting at a special start time of 6pm EST, with “NHL On TNT 21-22” listed as the reason for the pre-emption.
