Sasha Banks and Naomi will defend the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship against Natalya and Shayna Baszler on the May 13 episode of WWE SmackDown.
The broadcast team confirmed the news on the April 29 episode. After the announcement, Naomi defeated Baszler in a singles match, but the challengers left the champions lying with a brutal post-match attack. Baszler stomped Naomi’s arm and seemingly wounded the fan-favorite star.

Banks and Naomi won the gold at WWE WrestleMania 38 in a four-way, which also included Baszler and Natalya.
