Joe Gacy stood tall to close out the 4/26 episode of WWE NXT 2.0 when he dealt with Rick Steiner and NXT Champion Bron Breakker.
Gacy began to cut a show-closing promo, where he noted that he was molding NXT like clay. He also stated that Breakker was not cleared to compete in their title bout at NXT Spring Breakin’. Steiner’s music hit, and The WWE Hall of Famer came to the ring to tell Gacy that his son is medically cleared to compete. Gacy then encouraged his hooded druids to attack the ring, but Breakker stormed to the ring to make the save.
In the end, the numbers game got to Breakker, as Gacy dropped him. The challenger then ended the show holding the title high ahead of his clash with the champion next week.
