Becky Lynch believes WWE RAW has the best women’s division in the world.
Former RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch was recently a guest on Drew Garabo Live to discuss a wide variety of subjects. When asked if the competition of All Elite Wrestling‘s women’s division pushes them to take things to another level in WWE, Lynch didn’t pull any punches with her response.
“I mean, I wish I could say yes, but unfortunately, I don’t think they’re represented the way that we are,” Becky Lynch said. “They don’t get as much time as we get. And frankly, they’re not as good as we are. We have uncertainty on RAW; we have the best women’s division in the world. And I say that without any hesitation in my voice. We have the best women’s division in the world. And yeah, competition is great, and it’s great for there to be another place, and I have a very good friend Ruby Soho over there, and I would love to see her as champion one day. I would love to see her get the spotlight that she deserves. And competition is always great. But over here, we’re just on another level right now.”
The time given to the women on AEW Dynamite has always been a point of criticism with fans over the last couple of years. Perhaps hearing this critique from someone within WWE will finally be what’s needed for Tony Khan to address the critics and make changes to his division going forward. We’ll find out soon enough.
