WWE‘s social media presence is one of the biggest in the world, and they’ve earned yet another award for it.
Recently, the 2022 Cynopsis Sports Media Awards have awarded both WWE and CBS Sports as the 2022 Campaigns/Content/Tech Winner for Overall Social Media Excellence (Brand). While not technically an outright win, the award is still a major one for WWE, as it shows that the work they’ve been putting into their social media content has paid off.
During the 2021 Cynopsis Sports Media Awards, WWE was also the recipient of multiple awards, including the Best Over The Top Content Service and Best Tech Innovation, for its use of the ThunderDome during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, this 2022 award is probably a bigger one for WWE, as it beat out fellow companies like FOX Sports, the NBA, and Turner Sports in its win.
