Taya Valkyrie has been announced for The Wrestling Showcase.
The former IMPACT Knockouts Champion is set for the event, which will be held in Chicago on September 3. She will not be competing in The Wrestling Showcase tournament itself.

Valkyrie recently returned to IMPACT; she will challenge Deonna Purrazzo for the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship at the Rebellion pay-per-view on April 23.
WrestleZone previously reported that The Wrestling Showcase is a major event, not a new promotion; several noteworthy names are already attached to the project.

Matt Cardona and Steve Maclin were previously announced for the show.
