The April 20 episode of AEW Dynamite is set to be a big one, with two qualifying matches for the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, a Coffin Match, and another special announcement from AEWW president Tony Khan.
As announced during the April 13 episode, next week will see two qualifying matches for the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament take place. Daniella Kamela will take on former AEW Women’s World Champion Britt Baker for a spot in the tournament, while Jungle Boy and Kyle O’Reilly will face off in a qualifier the Men’s side. Elsewhere, Andrade El Idolo and Darby Allin will take part in a Coffin Match. Allin won the only other Coffin Match in AEW history by beating Ethan Page last year.
Plus, MJF has paid for The Butcher’s services, as he hopes that the latter will “slaughter” Wardlow on Wednesday night. Finally, HOOK will make his AEW Dynamite in-ring debut; he has picked up a few wins on AEW Rampage in recent months.

Otherwise, Tony Khan will make a “huge announcement,” which is sure to generate plenty of buzz ahead of the show.
