CM Punk will be in action on the April 13 episode of AEW Dynamite.
Company president Tony Khan confirmed that the fan-favorite star will face Penta Oscuro in a singles bout on Wednesday. Punk recently tagged several wrestlers, including Penta, in his request to have a match on Dynamite, and Penta answered the call. “The Second City Saint” has recently been teasing his intent to chase the world title, and a win over Penta could help him climb up the rankings.

AEW has also announced that Marina Shafir will make her AEW TV debut on Wednesday night; she’ll face Skye Blue in a singles bout. Shafir, who has gone 4-0 in AEW this year, will challenge Jade Cargill for the TBS Championship, and this contest will give her a chance to earn more momentum. WWE released Shafir last June; she signed with the company in 2018, and she had a brief run in NXT. In recent months, Shafir has competed for Game Changer Wrestling and Championship Wrestling From Atlanta.
