Austin Theory has lost his first name.
On the April 11 episode of WWE RAW, the young prospect told WWE officials Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville that they should just call him “Theory” now. He stated that he and Vince McMahon agreed that “Austin” wasn’t fitting for him. Then, he made his case for getting a shot at the WWE United States Championship, as he has pinned the champion, Finn Balor multiple times. The officials agreed and confirmed the match for next week’s show.

Plus, Kevin Owens will give Ezekiel a lie detector test on the April 18 episode. He barged into the officials’ office, determined to prove that Ezekiel is a liar and that he’s actually Elias. Pearce and Deville refused to give Owens any of Ezekiel’s points of identification, like his driver’s license or his library card, so Owens declared that he’d handle the matter himself next week.
