AEW Rampage viewership increased on April 8.
According to Showbuzz Daily, 600,000 viewers watched the show on Friday night, and it drew a 0.25 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. These numbers are both up from the April 1 episode, when 456,000 viewers tuned in. Last week‘s episode drew a 0.15 rating (193,000 viewers) in the same demographic. The demo rating marked the show’s highest since October 1, and the total viewership was the show’s highest since January 28, according to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics.

Thurston also noted that Rampage ranked fourth in the demographic among cable originals and eleventh overall, including broadcast primetime. He went on to clarify that the Christmas Day episode had a slightly higher demographic rating (0.26).
Christmas had an earlier start, at 9pm.
Smackdown was #2 in P18-49, only behind the Masters on ESPN.

This week’s show featured Wheeler Yuta vs. Jon Moxley in the main event match. Plus, Bryan Danielson clashed with Trent Beretta, and Swerve Strickland took on QT Marshall. Elsewhere on the show, Red Velvet faced Willow Nightingale in an Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament qualifying match.
