WWE WrestleMania 38 Night Two closed with what WWE has been calling the biggest WrestleMania match of all time, as Roman Reigns battled Brock Lesnar in a championship unification bout. Reigns, the Universal Champion, and Lesnar, the WWE Champion, both aimed to become WWE’s undisputed world champion.
Early on, Lesnar got distracted when he confronted his former “advocate,” Paul Heyman. Reigns took advantage and blasted Lesnar with a Spear through the barricade.

After he endured two Superman Punches, Lesnar took Reigns to Suplex City by slamming him repeatedly. “The Tribal Chief” escaped the F5 and nailed “The Beast Incarnate: with another Superman Punch. Lesnar caught Reigns’ Spear attempt and hit the F5 for the match’s first near fall. “The Head of the Table” proceeded to Spear Lesnar into the referee, and he hit his opponent below the belt when the official was down. “The Tribal Chief” rocked Lesnar by hitting him with the title for a two count.
The Universal Champion then got a two count with an inverted Spear. Lesnar fired back by reversing a Spear and trapping his opponent in the Kimura Lock, but Reigns reached the ropes. Heyman counseled the wounded champion, who said his shoulder was “out”, and Reigns blasted Lesnar with a Spear for the win. As a result, he became the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.
