Jon Moxley made a surprise appearance during New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s Lonestar Shootout event.
Following Minoru Suzuki’s win over Killer Kross, Moxley’s music hit, shocking the crowd. The superstar made his way down to the ring. Once inside the ring, Moxley grabbed a microphone and cut a promo, saying that despite having a hamstring injury and a concussion — injuries that played a hand in Moxley stepping away from All Elite Wrestling for a bit — the superstar wouldn’t miss a chance to be inside a New Japan ring, because he loves wrestling that much.
He then called out Will Ospreay, who he will face off against at New Japan’s Windy City Riot event in Chicago on April 16, 2022. Moxley said that he won’t let his pride lose him the match, and that he’s going to teach Ospreay a lesson at the event.
