Minoru Suzuki To Challenge For ROH World TV Title At ROH Supercard Of Honor, Updated Card

Tony Khan continues to load up the lineup for ROH Supercard of Honor, Ring of Honor’s first event under his ownership.

In a tweet on March 31, he announced that the legendary Minoru Suzuki will challenge Rhett Titus for the ROH World Television Championship. Suzuki has competed for GCW and AEW, and he is one of the most widely renowned Japanese wrestlers on the planet today. Titus won the gold at ROH Final Battle: End of An Era, the promotion’s last show before it went on hiatus for the first quarter of 2022.

In another announcement, Tony Khan confirmed that Ninja Mack, who was previously announced for the show under the previous ownership, would be in action against Tully Bhanchard’s new client. Blanchard has regularly appeared on AEW programming since 2020, but FTR recently fired him.

Plus, in yet another tweet, Khan revealed that Bandido has aligned with Chavo Guerrero Jr. due to the disrespect he felt when ROH crowned a new champion at ROH Final Battle, when Bandido was unable to compete. Guerrero Jr. had a brief run as Andrade El Idolo’s manager in AEW last year.

The updated card is as follows:

  • Interim ROH Women’s World Championship: Willow vs. Mercedes Martinez
  • ROH World Tag Team Championship: The Briscoes (c) vs. FTR
  • ROH Undisputed World Championship: Bandido (with Chavo Guerrero Jr.) vs. Jonathan Gresham
  • ROH Pure Championship: Josh Woods (c) vs. Wheeler Yuta
  • ROH World Television Championship: Rhett Titus (c) vs. TBA
  • Ninja Mack vs.Tully Blanchard’s new client
  • Jay Lethal vs. Lee Moriarty (with Matt Sydal)
  • SW3RVE The Realest vs. Alex Zayne

WrestleZone will have full coverage of the show as it airs.
