Ronda Rousey says she won’t be on RAW after all.
The March 28 episode of WWE RAW originally advertised a tag match featuring Bianca Belair teaming with Ronda Rousey against Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch, but that match appears to have been pulled from the show lineup. WWE did not specify why the match was removed from the preview, but Ronda Rousey herself is saying she wasn’t supposed to be on the show to begin with.
During her most recent Facebook Gaming stream, Ronda Rousey said that she would not be appearing on the March 28 episode of RAW, noting that her appearance being advertised must have been a mistake. Rousey said that she wouldn’t have been streaming on Sunday night if she was going to be at RAW on Monday, indicating that she would have been traveling to Pittsburgh, the site of this week’s show.
Rousey said she will still be at SmackDown this week, and WrestleMania the following night for her SmackDown Women’s Championship match against Charlotte Flair. Rousey recently said she was dealing with a torn labial frenulum, but will be ready to go at WrestleMania.
Despite the women’s tag match being pulled from the show, the following matches and segments are still being advertised for WWE RAW:
- Rey Mysterio vs. The Miz
- Street Profits vs. Alpha Academy
- Natalya, Shayna Baszler, Carmella and Queen Zelina vs. Sasha Banks, Naomi, Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan
- RK-Bro vs. The Usos
- Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns face-off
