Shelton Benjamin Squashes WWE Release Rumors
Someone online started circulating what appeared to be an official WWE statement announcing the release of Shelton Benjamin, Cedric Alexander, Elias, and Aliyah over the weekend and it picked up steam, being circulated thousands of times online.
Shelton Benjamin took to Twitter over the weekend to confirm these rumors were completely false with no truth behind it. Benjamin said, “I have not been released from WWE. I obviously don’t know where this false report started (probably Mia Yim) but for those that cared thank you but at this time your concerns are premature.”
