The Usos will defend the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania 38.
During a promo on the March 11 episode of WWE SmackDown, The Usos stated that no worthy teams were left for them to defend the titles against. Shinsuke Nakamura and Rick Boogs responded, with the latter saying that the duo will be the next champions. Jimmy Uso told Boogs, who had his leg taped up after The Usos attacked him and Nakamura last week, they’d get the match if he could beat Jimmy Uso.
Boogs agreed to the terms and quickly revealed that his leg wasn’t hurt after all. He subsequently defeated Jey to win the bout and punch his ticket to WrestleMania 38.

The Usos attacked Boogs after the match to send him a message and get some momentum back.
