Matt Riddle and Brock Lesnar is a dream match for many…including Riddle himself.
WWE star and one-half of the RAW Tag Team Champions Matt Riddle recently spoke with Adam’s Apple and discussed his potential dream match…which is still none other than the WWE Champion and fellow UFC alum, Brock Lesnar.
“I really want that one-on-one match with Brock [Lesnar] that’d be great,” Riddle admitted. “But there’s a lot of talent out there, ya know, you’ve got the Edges, me and Randy are partners but you never know, we might wrestle one day. There’s a lot.”
Asked who he thinks the next MMA crossover star could be, Riddle said that there’s a deep talent pool there, but it’s a matter of actually coming in and doing it.
“There’s a bunch that I think could, especially among the heavyweights. Even the lightweights, I think there’s enough entertaining people, but it takes a certain person to actually do it. It’s a lot of work. I think there’s a lot of fighters that could do it part time, but to do it full-time is just different.”
Riddle and Randy Orton captured the RAW Tag Team Titles over now-former champions Alpha Academy and Seth Rollins & Kevin Owens on the 3/7 edition of Monday Night RAW to become two-time champions.
