Ric Flair On Pat McAfee Making Talent ‘Take Notice’; Likes That He Flies Private

Ric Flair appreciates the style and profile of Pat McAfee. On the latest episode of Ric Flair Wooooo Nation UNCENSORED, Flair and co-host Mark Madden talked about the idea of Pat McAfee getting in the ring at WrestleMania 38 and since then, Pat has been confirmed to face Austin Theory at the event. Flair notes as to how diverse McAfee can be in WWE and it started with the black and gold brand against Adam Cole.

“Pat McAfee can work. That NXT match I still can’t get over,” he said. “He made a lot of the wrestling talent take notice. That’s a kind way of putting it.”

Flair then commended Pat on his ability behind the mic.

“He’s also got the interview skills. I love it. Pat could be right in the business right now and be I would say fairly successful if not real successful,”

Madden even went a step further to say that McAfee could be a top star in WWE if he focused full-time on being an in-ring wrestler.

“I’d have to see him wrestle a guy like Orton or AJ Styles first, but I have no problem saying he’s a helluva athlete and very entertaining,” Flair said. “He’s great on the mic, he brings a huge amount of energy to the show. I love him.”

Madden notes that on the podcast front, The Pat McAfee Show signed a four-year $120 million deal with FanDuel sportsbook.

“Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy,” Flair said. “I know he flies private. I like that.”
