Vince McMahon To Induct The Undertaker Into WWE Hall Of Fame

WWE Chairman Vince McMahon is set to induct The Undertaker Into the company’s Hall of Fame during WrestleMania 38 weekend.

Vince McMahon and The Undertaker’s relationship date back nearly four decades, and McMahon made the announcement about the Hall Of Fame induction when appearing on The Pat McAfee Show this afternoon.

“The Undertaker, of course, is going to be inducted into the Hall Of Fame and I’m going to have the distinction of inducting him into the Hall Of Fame. This will be one of the most difficult things I’ll ever have to do in my life.”

When asked why it would be such a difficult thing to do, Vince explained it’s because of his love and admiration for Mark Callaway himself.

“I like the guy…I love the guy! We’ve known each other for so many years and we’ve been through all kinds of situations, many I’m glad that didn’t make the newspapers but when you live on the road, you have to have a family on the road and you have to have people that you can count on and rely on and that are loyal and not have to look over your shoulder. He’s an extraordinary human being as well as one of the most premiere performers in the ring, I could talk about the character forever and it won’t bother me at all but in my mind when I’m out there inducting him, it’s tough when you know someone so well and your care about them so much and it’s going to be one of the most difficult things that I’ve ever done.”

The 2022 WWE Hall Of Fame ceremony will take place on Friday, April 1, 2022 at 10 pm EST / 9 CST immediately following SmackDown at the American Airlines Center in Dallas.
