Keith Lee is expecting a lot of destruction in this Sunday’s ladder match at AEW Revolution.
One of the newest signees to All Elite Wrestling, Keith Lee recently sat down with Joseph Staszewski of the New York Post to discuss a variety of subjects. When asked about what fans can expect from a ladder match that features a lot of big athletic guys in it, Lee thinks this ladder match will certainly offer a different flavor from the ones you’ve seen before.
“You mean a ladder match of destruction? It’s going to be something different,” Keith Lee said. “It’s going to be something with a different flavor. I imagine, if they don’t have a lot of ladders then no one’s going to win the match because there’s not going to be a ladder to climb. At the end of the day, that’s how I feel.”
When asked about the backstage rumors of having an attitude problem while in WWE, Lee dismissed them saying there’s no truth to it so he won’t give it any credence.
“At the end of the day, man, I’m very much like these old school guys like I really don’t pay attention to the internet like that, and half the time I don’t really pay attention to the apps,” Keith Lee admitted. “Like I may post a thing and someone who helps me with my account may post a thing that’s trying to be positive for other people or promote what I do here in AEW, especially now. I feel like this. If there’s no truth to it then why should I give it any credence? This is going to sound arrogant and I don’t really care. At the end of the day, it is beneath me and I treat it as such.”
Lee recently detailed his health issues related to contracting COVID-19 last year; read more about his time away from the ring and how he’s making “astounding” progress at this link.
