On February 25, “The Bad Boy” teamed up with X-Pac at GCW Welcome to Heartbreak, where they defeated Matt Cardona and Brian Myers in Waltman’s first bout since 2019. After the bout, Watman cut an emotional promo and stated that this match was his last, but Janela blasted him with a superkick. The following night, “The Bad Boy” explained that he betrayed X-Pac because he was tired of everyone getting their flowers at his expense. In response, Waltman confronted him and told him that he would personally give Janela his flowers by “showing them up [his] ass” at Spring Break.
GCW continues to load up the card for Spring Break 6, a two-night event that will be held as part of The Collective in Dallas on WrestleMania weekend. Jon Moxley will defend his GCW World Championship against AJ Gray, and Chris Dickinson is set to face Matt Cardona, though the latter bout hasn’t been officially announced yet. “The Dirty Daddy” and “The Deathmatch King” had a heated confrontation at “Welcome to Heartbreak” that set the stage for their looming bout.
