Sonya Deville might have bitten off more than she could chew when she attacked Ronda Rousey on the February 25 episode of WWE SmackDown.
“The Baddest Woman on the Planet” kicked off the show on Friday and discussed her return to WWE. She explained how she took some time away because she became a mother, but the former champion wanted to return to the ring, so she did. Before she could say much more, SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair, Rousey’s opponent at WWE WrestleMania 38, interrupted her challenger. She mocked Rousey, vowed to defeat her and joked that “The Baddest Woman on the Planet” could start working on her second baby after her looming defeat.
With Rousey fully distracted by Flair, WWE official Sonya Deville chop-blocked the former UFC star from behind. Deville, who has been aligned with Flair in recent weeks, proceeded to attack Rousey, and “The Queen” slammed the latter’s knee into the steel ring post.

Shortly thereafter, WWE official Adam Pearce made it clear that he disapproves of Deville’s abuse of her power. For this reason, alongside Rousey’s request, Deville will face the former champion in a singles match on the March 4 episode of WWE SmackDown.
Rousey and Naomi previously defeated the team of Deville and Flair at WWE Elimination Chamber.
Later in the show, Ricochet challenged Sami Zayn to a match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship, and WWE official Adam Pearce confirmed the bout for next week’s episode.

Plus, the broadcast team announced that The Usos will defend the SmackDown Tag Team Championship against The Viking Raiders next Friday. The two teams have been feuding for a few weeks, and they were scheduled to clash in a title bout at WWE Elimination Chamber. But when the champions attacked Erik and Ivar during their bout, the match was postponed.
On the February 25 episode of WWE SmackDown, The Viking Raiders beat up The Usos and demanded their title match. They didn’t have to wait long to find out that it’ll finally happen on March 4.
