Eddie Kingston vs. Chris Jericho Set For AEW Revolution

Chris Jericho and Eddie Kingston met in the ring during the February 23 episode of AEW Dynamite, and they’ll meet again in the ring at AEW Revolution. But at the pay-per-view, the time for talk will be over, as they’ll fight in a heated battle on March 6.

Meeting in the ring tonight, Jericho and Kingston both spoke back and forth at length about how their history and trajectory leading up until this moment. Jericho took things a bit further, though, when he recited the history of Eddie Kingston, calling his grandfather and father a “failure” before saying he believes Kingston thinks he is a failure deep down, too.

Jericho went on to say that Kingston can’t ever win the “big one,” and that when it comes to All Elite Wrestling, Jericho is the big one. However, Jericho said, if Kingston does manage to actually beat him at AEW Revolution, he “swears to god” that he will look him in the eye, shake his hand, and tell Kingston that he has his ultimate respect for finally getting over the fear that Jericho thinks is holding Kingston back.

Kingston then issued a warning to Jericho, saying that he doesn’t want “Mimosa Jericho,” or the Jericho that got shoved off of a cage. Instead, he wants the AEW World Champion Chris Jericho, the one that “bled buckets” in Tennessee, and that if any other Jericho shows up, Kingston will eat him alive.
